Alaska's First People

Alaska's First People migrated from Asia, following game across a now vanished land bridge between Siberia and Alaska. Shallow waters of the Bering Straits, now cover this bridge.

This mask has been carved by hand from the bark of the Black Cottonwood tree, which occurs in the lowlands of Alaska's South Central and Southern coastal forests.

The fur is is a recycled caribou hoof.

**Spirit Dancers Approx 7"W X 11"H.
