This Haida bentwood box design is a tribute to the great Haida artists of the past and present. These elaborately carved and painted boxes were among the most prized of their possessions. The Haida Master Artists are depicted amongst the Thunderbirds. Spirits of the past overlook the artists of today, who now hold in their hands the honor of continuing the art and maintaining the culture for future generations.
