I spent much of my childhood as a floathouse kid living a subsistence lifestyle around the islands of coastal British Columbia and Alaska.
Later, I pursued an education to become a teacher. I even earned a Master's degree in Education, but left to sail the Caribbean instead.
Now, I have settled back on Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska to raise my three boys close to the earth and sea.
I love my work: Putting as much ALASKA as I can onto a 3-1/4 inch ball!
