Cascadia Rainforest

Cascadia Rainforest

"Cascadia: Defined as the watersheds of rivers that flow into the Pacific Ocean through North America's temperate rainforest zone, Cascadia, or the Pacific Northwest, extends from northern California to southern Alaska- along a coastline once cloaked in nearly continuous rainforest- and inland as far as the Continental Divide." The Northwest Environmental Watch Within the lungs of the forest hides the gentle, yet strong Deer. From the bottom of the lush forest floor, to the mountain tops, and to the depths of the waters on the Ring of Fire live some of our sacred species. See within the Bear and Cougar, watching amongst tall trees that give us oxygen. Under the sea, swim the mighty Humpback and Gray whale being followed closely by nature's sea wolf, the Orca. Medicinal plants and fertile waters fill this incredible region, a place on earth that is true to the saying that we are all connected. Smell the summer berries and find the hidden Ladybug, who brings good luck, happiness and success!
