Maynard Linder Ulu Knives are handmade in Homer, AK from carpenters' handsaw steel with a high carbon content. This type of steel is preferred for its lightness, flexibility and ability to take and maintain a razor sharp edge. 

The handles are secured with epoxy and brass rivets, ensuring long-lasting durability and stability for a lifetime of use.

The Ulu can be sharpened with a diamond steel, or a medium Arkansas stone.
