Flying Blue Heron

Flying Blue Heron

Herons are waders, seen along coastlines, marshes, or near the shores of ponds or streams. They are expert fishers. Herons hunt their prey by walking slowly, or standing still for long periods of time and waiting for fish to come within range of their long necks and sharp bills. Look inside for the Red-Winged Blackbird, Wood Duck, and Beaver who also live in the marshes. There are other hiding marsh critters to look for. The Heron represents balance and determination, and the ability to stand on your own two feet , to walk into deep waters without fear. Don't forget to find the Lady Bug who will bring you happiness and joy!
