Origins of the Rivers and Streams is an ancient creation story based on a oral story that has been passed from generation to generation for thousands of years. Traditional stories document Native history, reflect Native world views, and are highly valued clan possessions that are integeral to Native identity. This traditional story was adapted from oral accounts into a childrens book written by Pauline Duncan illustrated by Lindsay Carron.
